The Rabid Whole, from Canada,is an awesome mix of electronic, rock and industrial ready to take on the world with their incredible refreshing sound.

Tell me about The rabid whole, A little history, a little about the members.

George: After the both of us played in hardcore bands, Andreas contacted me through a mutual friend, and he showed me what he was working on. I decided to give it a go, and for a year we meddled with sounds before Sheenah, and inevitably, Alex joined the fold.

Fun Facts: Sheenah lives life to the MAXIMUM.

Andreas engages in entrepreneurial activities,

Alex is a bicycle enthusiast, and

I enjoy playing video games.

If you had to describe your sound to someone, what would you tell them?

George: 21st Century Alternative

What are your plans for 2010?

George: We’ve got a remix album to be announced VERY soon. Other than that we’re focusing on writing new material.

Andreas: Definitely keep checkin’ for the remix album in the next couple of months.

It’s loaded with contributions from many artists that totally kick @$$!

Pick one song on Autraumaton and tell me about it.

Andreas: Distant Blue Skies, to me was about realizing I was in a bad situation and to stop blaming myself for another’s faults. It was a moment of finding hope in a dark time.

What has so far been the best experience in The Rabid Whole?

George: For me personally, its been being able to open up for 16Volt/Chemlab/Left Spine Down, and Hanzel Und Gretyl in May of this year. I got to meet Steve White (KMFDM, 16Volt, PIG) whose been a hero of mine, and HuG just know how to bring the house down.

Andreas: The best experience for me is meeting the fans. After stressing over technical issues, logistics, the business side of the band and all the other bullshit, meeting people who appreciate what we’re doing reminds me about why I love it! The fans NEED TO KNOW how important they are! We love you!!!

What has been the worst?

George: Some ‘promoter’ in Montreal ripped us off back in November ‘09, during our 2-week tour of Eastern Canada. While we played, the promoter ditched the club. Bands, beware!….Oh! and having the flu/norwalk virus for that whole tour was THE WORST!

Tell me something about the Canadian music scene that I probably don’t know about.

Andreas: It’s a lot more similar to the American music scene than the European one, and Canadians definitely know how to show their support for their fellow performers!

Do you have any plan’s to coming over to play Europe?

Andreas: Nothing official yet, but we would absolutely LOVE TO! Perhaps after the next record comes out in 2011… We need the fans’ support! Tell all your friends! Spread the word! Show that there’s a demand for TRW in Europe!

What three things can’t you live without?

George: My iPhone, my computer, and music!

Andreas: My iPhone, my computer and music as well!

Tell fans why they should check out The Rabid Whole.

George: If they’re fans, haven’t they already checked us out? :P I kid, I Kid..

Andreas: What George meant to say is…because we will ROCK YOUR FACES OFF!

George: ….in the most digitized, electronic way possible.

Act 3 of Raggedy Angry’s audio assault on the world will be released in Europe on Danse Macabre Records on October 1st. The new album, How I Learned to Love Our Robot Overlords, is the second Raggedy Angry album to be mixed by industrial mastermind Dave “Rave” Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson) and it finds the Toronto-based electro-rock quintet narrowing in on a sound that started developing on the previous album, Pestilence: synth-heavy, raw and aggressive, yet tight and hooky as Hell.
