It is really hard to find a band that is actually trying to be original. Their is both a negative and positive side to combining so many genres,influences and images into one project. However, this is exactly what kind of music we need. The industry is way to concerned with selling Cd’s (which nobody is doing anyways) then to actually try to understand and be open to hear new music. I have a feeling that Van Briel will break into the scene very soon and once they do they will defintley show other bands that you can be young,original and not give a fuck about labels and still be a succesful band.
